Join us for a series of Artist Meet Up events! Spokane Arts presents a new networking and professional development series taking place in galleries and venues throughout Spokane. These free events will be an opportunity for artists to learn about individual galleries and venues particular booking processes, as well as meet and discuss themes relevant to our arts community.
Join us for the first Artist Meet Up in the series at the Terrain Gallery on Tuesday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m. Meet the folks that run the Terrain Gallery, Bazaar, and their flagship event Terrain. We'll also discuss how to price and value your work! (An important and complicated topic for artists across all disciplines!) Future Artist Meet Ups (in venues including music & performance venues, libraries, and museums!) will cover topics of interest to a wide range of artists and performers, such as exploring how place can influence art, creating productive studio and practice habits, and how social media fits into artists lives and communities.
Every Artist Meet Up is open to artists at every point in their career and across disciplines. Bring a friend, come and make a friend, and join in the conversations!
