Film Permit
Thank you for choosing to film in Spokane, the city that is "near nature, near perfect." You'll find the City of Spokane’s Film Office to be a fast and friendly "one stop" for meeting your filming needs within the City of Spokane.
The easy rule of thumb is this: as long as you're working in public space, you probably need to file a permit application with this office. If you wonder whether a permit is required for your project, give us a call and we’ll work with you on that.
While there is no application fee for a master film permit, we do require a $1,000 damage deposit and a certificate of insurance. Check out the City's Film Manual for more detailed information on the various permitting and communication requirements.
As soon as you determine you will be working in Spokane, please call the City Film Office to touch base with us and begin the process. The more lead time we get, the better we can serve your needs.
